Melody + block chords
Each bar L holds one chord; R plays the melody.
Listen for: L plays the chord all at once on beat 1.
Pass when: R doesn't stop when the chord changes.

L plays the root and the fifth.
Listen for: L keeps four even beats.
Pass when: Change the chord root exactly on each bar.

Melody + broken 1-5-3-5
L arpeggiates the chord in eighth notes.
Listen for: L doesn't speed up on the broken notes.
Pass when: Eight even L notes while R can still sing.

Listen for: A light accent on beat 1, beats 2-3 soft.
Pass when: Don't let it turn into 4/4.
